New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and New York follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This one-star review is only for the service. LA Burdick is one of my favorite hot chocolate brands, so when I was in the city, I made a point of stopping by to pick up a couple of hot chocolate packets. Unfortunately, the service completely ruined the experience. The woman working at the counter was incredibly rude from the start. She was on her phone the entire time while I stood there waiting to check out. No greeting, no acknowledgment, not even a response when I said hello. I asked if I could get the hot chocolate packets from the shelf behind the counter instead of the ones sitting outside. She just stared at me and said, βTheyβre all the same.β I know theyβre the same product, that wasnβt the point. The ones outside felt clumpy and had been sitting out during the heat wave, so I simply preferred the ones on the shelf. It was such a small request, and I genuinely donβt understand why it was met with such a dismissive attitude. It would have taken just a few seconds to accommodate a reasonable request. Afterward, I looked through the reviews and realized Iβm not the only one whoβs had this kind of experience at this location. If management is reading this, I hope you take

The iced drinking chocolate was so yummy especially during the summer months. I did the half white chocolate and half milk chocolate. It was the perfect balance of sweetness but the chocolate was still rich. The staff helped me figured out the mix to get based on how sweet you want it.

Hands down the best hot chocolate Iβve ever had. Not ultra creamy and I my opinion thatβs good. Sometimes the hot chocolate (or drinking chocolate) is too rich. This is a proper Parisian hot chocolate, not the ultra-thick kind that Americans probably expect. Just the rich amount of richness and the flavour of the chocolate is also excellent. A tad pricey at $7 for a small cup though. But good enough that I bought their drinking chocolate bag for $32.

We love the place! Everything that we had was delicious. The chocolate chip cookies are amazing. The Burdick mocha was one of the best coffees that weβve had during our travels. You canβt go wrong with the caramel latte either. We went twice during our stay. I would make a trip to Chicago just to go to this chocolate store. Bailey was very friendly and personable. We enjoyed talking to her.
